We ummed and ahhhed a lot over whether this should be ['snot a sleeve] - to highlight that this gorgeously supersoft cotton handkerchief is, indeed, not a sleeve on which to wipe your nose... but then got tired of overthinking it all (too many letters missing, how many apostrophes would that need? etc etc).
So we just went for the standard idea that the hankie is not a sleeve and that you use it for snot. Which, as a word in itself, I really like. Hopefully it's simply an excellent reminder to wipe your nose on the correct piece of material and nothing else.
We chose the green embroidery to, well... symbolise it's use (disgusting, we know) but also added the green hearts to symbolise handkerchief use's green credentials. These will last for years and will always be useful to have about your person.
It's also cotton, so perfect for your spouse on your second wedding anniversary.
