Shipping policy
The Basics
Spend just £6 or more for free shipping 48hr within the UK.
Spend just £30 or more for free tracked (all duties paid) shipping to the USA.
Our Royal Mail collections happen Monday to Friday at 5pm. We don't post orders out on Saturday or Sunday or Bank Holidays.
Orders placed before 4pm will be despatched on the same day. Orders placed after 4pm may be despatched the following day. Orders placed on Friday after 4pm will be despatched on the Monday. We sometimes manage to sneak last minute orders into one of the sacks before 5pm, but we say 4pm to manage expectations, especially during busy periods.
You will receive an email notification when your item has been packed, stamped and handed over to Royal Mail.
USA Orders - DDP Delivery. We pay all applicable duties/tariffs/import taxes and fees so that you can simply receive the parcel as normal. Everything is paid up front by us so you shouldn't have to worry about anything. Well... anything to do with your order!
Shipping - UK
Royal Mail Guaranteed by 1pm Mon-Fri (1-2 Working Days) - £6.99 - this is a guaranteed delivery service, often it will only take one day but as our collection time is after 4pm we allow for two days but it is technically a Next Day Service. So it's great for when you order on Monday (before 4pm) and need it at the latest by 1pm Wednesday. We use this instead of other cheaper Next Working Day options as we find more and more couriers are arriving at 9pm and 10pm or even later and we think that is a bit concerning for all involved. The downside is it's Monday to Friday although sometimes they deliver a Friday order on Saturday but the estimate would be the Monday. Read More about this service.
Royal Mail 1-2 Working Days Estimate - £2.99 - this is the new service Royal Mail offer and it is in between First Class and Special Guaranteed. It should arrive within 24hrs, it is a fully tracked service but it is still an estimated service. Read More about this service.
Royal Mail 2-3 Working Days Estimate - Free (Orders Over £6) - this is the new service Royal Mail offer and it is like a very modern and upgraded version of Second Class. It should arrive within 48hrs but we allow for 2-3 working days and it is a fully tracked service. Read More about this service.
Shipping - United States
All orders are delivered to the United States duty and tariff paid. We pay all applicable duties/tariffs/import taxes and fees so that you simply receive the parcel like a normal delivery.
Orders Under £30 - Royal Mail International Tracked - 5-7 business day estimate - Price: £10 - Fully Tracked and will normally arrive within it's estimate but it's much better than the non tracked version where you don't know what's happening. Read More about this service.

Shipping - International
At the moment we have pausing shipping to the EU until we figure out how this new system of Customs admin fees will shake out and basically us being such a small company it's better to let the bigger boys work out the bugs of any brand new system.

With International shipping t is important to note that we do not charge or collect any customs fees or duties. We do not know which custom fees or duties may be payable in your local area for every type of product we sell.
Therefore please use the website's of your governments to check before as you will be liable for any local import taxes or duties.

Please note that delays in the service of Royal Mail are out of our control. If you haven't received your order within the estimated time frame, we ask that you allow an additional 3 working days before you get in touch with us. You don't have to stick to that if you're really worried about it.
If you live in a country where duty is payable on goods sent from the U.K, please be aware that this is not included within the cost of the item. Unless you are in the USA (see above details on our automatic DDP service).
We will always do everything we can to either chase it up for you or if it's really delayed or really important it arrives by a certain date, we can send out a replacement with a SAE for when the original eventually arrives but once we hand over to Royal Mail with hundreds of thousands of items they process each day, it's never going to be a case of you saying "Where's my order?" and us saying "it's exactly here" because this is the real world and we're not Amazon. But because we're not Amazon, or one of those companies that hide their contact details because Customer Service really eats into profit margins, you can email us, call us message us, you can even visit us in person. We're real people and we will take care of any problems that come up the way real people do in the real world. That being said, normally things arrive within their estimated delivery window and everything is fine.
If ever it's something that you need to arrive asap, the best thing to do is email us and just say "My order number is, can you get me some shipping quotes?" or before you even order, email and say "I'm thinking of ordering this, this and that, can you get me some shipping quotes?" and we will send you a selection of different shipping quotes for your consideration.
Nothing is set in stone, we have standard prices that have been carefully thought through and set up so that people can place their orders and get on with the rest of their lives but the beauty of being a small business is that we can be flexible and we are real people so just email or call us because we actually provide a telephone number that one of us will actually pick up, probably not me because I hate speaking on the phone but Sarah has a very nice telephone manner if you have any questions.
